A major accident has occurred to some members of a family who have gone to Araku valley from Hyderabad. This bus belongs to Dinesh Travels, Hyderabad.18 members are reported on this bus.
The accident occurred due to brake failure of the bus belonging to the Dinesh travels. Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar is monitoring the situation from time to time.
While coming from Araku valley to Visakhapatnam, this bus fell in 200 ft valley. 4 people are reported to be dead and another 4 are seriously injured.
The Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, IAS has established contact with DGP, AP Sri Goutham Savang, IPS, DIG Sri Kalidas and SP Sri Krishna.
The injured has been admitted to at S’Kota hospital and arrangements for treatment made at King George Hospital (KGH), Visakhapatnam.
The Chief Secretary personally monitoring, as per the instructions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Chief Secretary directed Collector Hyderabad to send officers to their local address in Shaikpet.
