Eknath Shinde has sent in his letter to the Governor and also the deputy Speaker of Maharashtra staking claim to forming the Government. He has flown to Mumbai from Gauhati.

Around fifty MLAs are getting ready to support Eknath on the floor of the house in the Assembly it is learnt. Sanjay Raut on the other hand has met NCP leader Sharad Pawar.
But many legal experts say that the floor test will decide who will rule Maharashtra. Earlier Sanjay Raut said that they were ready to lose the Government.
Now he challenges a street fight in Mumbai. Sanjay says he will win in the Assembly on the floor and also on the streets of Mumbai. Now the ball will be in the court of the Governor.
