Congress party Chief Rahul Gandhi is ready to sacrifice the seats for other parties in the name of Mahagathbandhan. His sole aim is to stop BJP from coming to power in 2019. He ia ready to give any number of seats for the regional parties to that they come under one banner to trounce Modi and stop NDA from coming to power.

To this effect, a strategy is being made to see that the Congress contests less number of seats that is not more than the 250. It could be less than 250 also. But K Chandrasekhar Rao in the name of the Federal front is forging ahead to form the other alliance or front in the name of non-BJP and Congress front. This will split the opposition into two bringing the chances of the non-BJP forces down.

Mamatha, Maya are the contenders for the post of Prime Ministership as Tejewar Yadav the son of Lalu clarified that the party which will become the single largest would get the chance to name the Prime Minister if at all they succeed in trouncing the BJP.

 Mahagathbandhan 2019

The opposition leaders will gang up under the Congress only if it is able to win the state elections coming in the 3 states, otherwise, it would be very difficult for Rahul. But all said and done Rahul as an individual is improving his graph and is able to challenge Modi the giant killer to some extent. The results in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh will decide the future course of action in the country for BJP and the Congress.

The theme of the Congress is to make sacrifices like giving Power to JDS in Karnataka and stalling the BJP from coming to power. The same will be repeated and more number of seats would be given to the local and regional players so that they would join hands with Rahul in taking on the mighty BJP led by the bulldozer called Modi.

The BJP is already planning to get more than 80 seats from the South where it is not strong on traditional lines. It is looking at the new areas and green pastures.

There are also rumours that the BJP might give the PM post to a consensus candidate. But the election would be fought under Modi.
