Government is conscious of the responsibility of honouring the Padma Awardees.
The felicitation of Padma awardees is an apolitical programme. All Telugu people are ours irrespective of they reside anywhere in the world.
This programme is organised to set a new good tradition and it should be continued.
Congratulating the government by the Padma Awardees is an acknowledgement to the successful people’s government.
A cash prize of Rs.25 lakh will be presented to the Padma awardees on behalf of the government.
Apart from this, the state government will give Rs 25,000 pension every month to the Padma award winning Poets and Artists.
We all should unite and move forward to protect our culture and traditions.
