Jersey is the remake of a Telugu film which was a super-duper hit with the same title. Dil Raju was the producer and now Dil is producing Hindi jersey along with Boney Kapoor.
The Kabir Khan actor cut his lip while shooting for the film. And 25 stitches later, he was back on the field to resume the shoot. Talking about the accident, the film’s producer, “We all know that Shahid is a perfectionist but what we saw that day was a display of true sportsman’s spirit by Shahid!”
Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jersey. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur.
It is reported that Shahid has to do the shooting after having twenty-one stitches for the injury. With his fans waiting to watch their favourite actor on-screen after two-and-a-half years, Shahid has now treated them to a new behind-the-scenes (BTS) video.
In the video, we also get to see the time he hurt his lips while shooting and had to get 25 stitches. Jersey is all set to release on December 31.
