20th Annual Convocation of NALSAR University of Law is scheduled to be held on 2nd September, 2023 at our campus in Shameerpet, Hyderabad between 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sri. Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairperson, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) will be the Chief Guest for this program. Hon’ble Justice Sri. P.S.Narasimha, Judge, Supreme Court of India will be the Guest of Honour, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana and Chancellor NALSAR University of Law, will preside over the convocation. Sri. A. Indra Karan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Law, Government of Telangana will be gracing the occasion as a Guest of Honour. Prof. Srikrishna Deva Rao, Vice Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, will welcome the dignitaries and present the report of the University. Prof. K.Vidyullatha Reddy, Registrar NALSAR University of Law will lead the ceremonial academic procession .
On this occasion, NYAYA the University Legal Services Clinic will be inaugurated by the Chief Guest in the presence of other dignitaries. This is an initiative to provide all kinds of legal assistance to the people especially to the marginalized and oppressed sections under one roof. NALSAR as on today is offering Legal Aid in various areas ranging from Juvenile Justice, Agriculture, Land laws, Undertrial Prisoners, Animal Law, Mediation etc. NYAYA will serve as a Centre for all Legal Services Clinics undertaken by the NALSAR.
More than 1,100 degrees ranging from Ph.D, LLM, MBA,B.A.LLB honors, and various Postgraduate and Diplomas offered by the NALSAR Distance Education Program will be conferred to the successful candidates. Fifty-eight Gold Medals will be awarded to the eligible candidates.
Honorable Judges in service, retired judges, members of the Executive Council and other university bodies, government officials, luminaries from legal fraternity and from academics will take part in this august occasion.
