Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao assured the cine people that the Government was ready to allocate around 2000 acres of land on the outskirts of Hyderabad for the development of a world class film city.
He advised senior film stars Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi to discuss with the officials over the development of film city around Hyderabad . He also wanted the officials and also the film personalities to visit Bulgaria and other places abroad to get an idea for the development of the said film city.
The Chief Minister KCR said that the film industry people must move forward as the Covid recovery is good in Telangana. He said that around 10 lakh people were dependent on the cinema and that their interest must be protected at any cost.
He advised that the cine people and the officials must come up with a blueprint for the said cine city and that the Government would co- operate with them in every manner.
KCR was of the opinion that a world class Film city should come up in the city and that people from across the world should come for the shootings here.
He said that the work must for on war footing basis and that the film city must become a reality soon. Earlier KCR discussed this matter with the Big B Amitabh Bachchan also. Big assured KCR of all the cooperation.
