The weather department has alerted twenty cities in particular and several states in North India against severe dust storm Delhi the capital was already hit by the dust storm last night with thundershowers here and there. Earlier more than 125 people were dead in UP and Rajasthan due to heavy rains, gale and thunderstorm.

The temperature is around 40 degrees and heavy rains may lash the city by this evening or night it is reported. The Delhi Metro and other trains running in the Delhi route were advised to go slow and reduce the speed. Some trains will be put on hold if the wind velocity increases.

Most of the outdoor meetings and other engagements have been closed for the time being on Tuesday and the Wednesday programs will also be altered depending on the weather conditions it is reported.
