Telangana state Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar made an appeal to public that they should voluntarily support government for the steps taken by the government to combat Covid -19.
Chief Secretary visited Mallepally area in khairathabad Zone along with Local MLA Jaffar Hussain Miraj, DGP Mahender Reddy, MAUD Prl Secretary Arvind kumar, GHMC Commissioner D.S.Lokesh Kumar, Hyderabad Collector Swetha Mohanthy, Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar today.
He told 12 containment clusters have been identified to combat Covid-19 spread in the city. He said public who are residing in these are requested not to come outside of their houses. He also indicated that outside people /others should not visit those areas.
Government aimed at controlling the spread of Covid-19 by the arrangement of barricading where ever necessary. A special number will be allocated to those who are inside to convey their problems,he told. So far 12 containment clusters are announced.
He has instructed GHMC Commissioner to nominate a nodal officer to monitor the implementation of containment rules. He also instructed Zonal and deputy Commissioners to implement govt. directions intact.
He said, People are completely supporting to the decision taken by the government to lockdown for the containment of Covid-19 spread. He requested that the public shall continue to support in the same manner. Zonal Commissioner Praveenya, Corporater Majid Hussain were also present.
