The BJP Government will add 18 new ministers to the cabinet and three Ministers will be elevated according to the sources. The Ministers to take oath have reported with the Prime Minister this noon.
The new list has already reached President Kovind. He will give his assent just before the swearing-in ceremony to take place at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Major women representation will be given apart from the caste equation will be taken care in the new cabinet. At least 5 Ministers will get the exit. One of them is already a Governor.
Kishan Reddy G from Telangana, Anurag Takhur and Purushottam Rupala will get promoted. 11 women will be in the cabinet, 27 OBCs, 8 STs and 12 SCs will be in the Modi cabinet.
7 seats are going for Polls in the next 14 months and this has promoted Modi to expand the cabinet. 13 lawyers, 6 doctors, 5 engineers and 7 civil servants will be the BJP Government.
5 Minorities will be in the cabinet out of the 21. We will be seeing 4 former chief Ministers in the cabinet formation. Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian representation will be there in the cabinet.
Two senior Ministers will go home. Pokhriyal the education Minister has been dropped on health grounds. Santosh Ganguar has resigned it si reported according to the PTI.
This is the highest representation of the underprivileged in the cabinet since Independence. 14 Ministers in the new team are below the age of 50.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, Pasupahi Paras, Narayan Rane, Gadkari, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh Hardip sing puri, Sonuwala from Assam, JP Nadda, RK singh, Rajiv Chandrasekhar are some leaders who met Prime Minister Modi at his house.
