Will the Ram Temple get ready before the General Elections ? The construction work is going to take around 3 and half years . L & T is supervising the project.
Many agencies and individuals are coming together for the construction of the Temple for Lord Rama. Contributions are also pouring in various forms for the Temple in Ayodhya.
If the Government foes for a snap poll, then Ram Temple will be under construction. If the elections are held as per the schedule, then it will be almost ready.
The L and T has agreed to oversee the project but the RamJanmabhoomi Trust has not given any mandate for L and T.
The construction of the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya, including the main structure, is estimated to cost around Rs 1,100 crore.
Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said the cost of construction of the main Ram Temple is estimated at Rs 300 crore to Rs 400 crore, while the entire premises will “cost not less than Rs 1,100 crore”, according to news agencies.
The Ram temple will be built on a 67-acre land in Ayodhya. The 270-feet-long temple will be constructed in Nagara style, the prominent architecture genre followed by Vaishnavites of North India.
“The Nagara style has been selected because the original Ram temple before it was demolished was also in this style,” said Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, a senior member of the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas.
The two-storey temple’s design has been conceived in such a manner that it will be constructed using stone slabs. No cement or iron will be used.
Changes are being made to the Architecture of the Temple from time to time. The basic structure remains the same, but the entries and exits apart from other facilities location is being changed from time to time. Security also remains the main theme behind the location of various utilities.
It is going to be multilevel Temple also.
