Ten days time is left for the political parties to hit a century in the coming GHMC polls. The election is for 150 divisions, but both the TRS and BJP are targeting for a century. Both of them are aiming at the Mayor post.
But the TRS has all the advantage. KTR the working president of the TRS and the Minister for Municipal Administration has suggested that they must hit a century depending on the development of Hyderabad.
There is no doubt that the city has been developed by leaps and bounds in the last 6 years. Many international agencies have certified as the best and affordable city across the world.
If there were no floods, or if the TRS has won Dubbaka, it would have been a cake walk for the ruling party. But now the BJP is giving a tough fight.
The MIM is the only party which is confident of getting 40 seats in the old city. KTR will be starting his campaign from Saturday on wards and it starts from Kukatpally.It will be concluded by KCR the TRS chief at the LB Stadium.
The BJP is busy in luring and poaching other party leaders and MPs. They are looking at Sarvey Satyanarayana from Congress and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from the Congress apart from Revanth Reddy to join the BJP.
It looks like Sarvey is already in and Konda is on the way. If this happens then the BJP will make all the difference to the TRS in the GHMC polls.
We have to see how far the parties will be able to cope up with the 10 days time and who will get the century.
