The government has injected $3.6 billion since 2012 to bail out the airline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the nation\u2019s largest carrier, its market share in the booming domestic market has slumped to 13 percent as private carriers such as InterGlobe Aviation\u2019s IndiGo and Jet Airways have grown.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-97273 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/AirIndia.png\" alt=\"AirIndia\" width=\"750\" height=\"680\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Previous attempts to offload the airline have been unsuccessful.
