Ganesh Acharya\u2019s latest pictures are sure grabbing eyeballs. The National Award-winning choreographer, in his recent appearances, has looked about half his previous size \u2014 and that\u2019s because he has lost a whopping 85kg.<\/p>\n

Talking about this drastic weight loss, Ganesh says, \u201cIt was tough for me. I have been working on my body for the past one-and-a-half years. I had even put on 30-40kg for my film Hey Bro (2015), and my weight had then touched 200kg. I am shedding that weight now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ganesh, who won the National Award for Best Choreography for the song Maston Ka Jhund in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), says that the motivation for his weight loss was to show people a different version of himself. I had to do this! I had this determination that, I just have to do this. people have only seen the fat Ganesh Acharya, that\u2019s why I wanted to change the image. I have lost almost 85kg now,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

Glad to have accomplished this weight loss, Ganesh adds that he has already started to feel the difference. \u201cI danced even when I had so much weight, but the difference between then and now is that the energy in my dance has doubled,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
