{"id":96520,"date":"2017-07-05T19:29:02","date_gmt":"2017-07-05T13:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=96520"},"modified":"2017-07-05T19:29:02","modified_gmt":"2017-07-05T13:59:02","slug":"india-has-weak-pm-says-rahul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/india-has-weak-pm-says-rahul\/","title":{"rendered":"India has weak PM says Rahul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi dubbed Narendra Modi as a \u201cweak PM\u201d on Wednesday for not raising the issue of H-1B visa in his talks with US President Donald Trump and for playing down the use of the term \u201cIndian- administered Kashmir\u201d by the US.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Congress on its Twitter handle also criticised Modi\u2019s US visit, saying it was merely a photo opportunity and the main issues were bypassed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-96521 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/mo-trump-759.jpg\" alt=\"India has weak PM says Rahul\" width=\"624\" height=\"347\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gandhi tweeted some links of media reports that said \u201cH- 1B didn\u2019t figure in Modi-Trump talks\u201d and \u201cMEA accepts US use of \u2018administered Kashmir\u2019\u201c.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIndia has a weak PM,\u201d he tweeted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">India had played down the usage of \u201cIndian-administered Jammu and Kashmir\u201d by the US in a statement issued during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the country last month, saying similar terms have been used in the past too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-96522 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/pm-modi-rahul-gandhi-759.jpg\" alt=\"India has weak PM says Rahul\" width=\"759\" height=\"422\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Congress tweeted, \u201cWhile it was a great photo opportunity, the main issues were bypassed on Narendra Modi\u2019s trip to the United States. #Unfruitful #WeakModi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It also posted a picture captioned \u2018no priority for Indian interests\u2019 along with the tweet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cPM Modi should have made an effort to ensure that issues of visas and the tech industry were discussed,\u201d it tweeted.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Congress had earlier attacked Modi over his frequent foreign trips, saying they had not benefited India \u201ceven a bit\u201d and that only time would tell about the gains from his current visit to Israel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi dubbed Narendra Modi as a \u201cweak PM\u201d on Wednesday for not raising the issue of H-1B visa in his talks with US President Donald Trump and for playing down the use of the term \u201cIndian- administered Kashmir\u201d by the US.
