And now, the Argentine football legend had his say on politics, blatantly ridiculing US President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maradona, who recently visited Russia to attend the FIFA Confederations Cup final between Chile and Germany, was questioned by journalists about his opinion on the country\u2019s leader, Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-96015 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/aaa.jpg\" alt=\"Trump is a cartoon: Maradona \" width=\"624\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The World Cup winner raised eyebrows with his answer stating Trump as a cartoon character who cannot be taken seriously while hailing Russia\u2019s Putin as a \u2018phenomenon\u2019. \u201cFor me, he\u2019s more of a comic,\u201d he said of Trump, as quoted by RT.<br \/>\n\u201cHe\u2019s like a cartoon to me, if we talk about politics\u2026 Every time I see him on TV, I switch the channel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Argentine icon even spoke about how Trump\u2019s presidency could lead to war.<br \/>\n\u201cOne shouldn\u2019t forget about Russia, China, about North Korea. The US isn\u2019t the county sheriff anymore.
