Both the CMs of the Telugu states KCR and Babu are vying to draw Pm Modis attention. It looked as if Modi was close to the AP CM Chandrababu as babu singed the nomination papers of Kovind the Presidential candidate.<\/p>\n

But in reality it was otherwise, Modi showed all his eagerness to talk to KCR and also shake hands with him and gave more importance to KCR than Babu.<\/p>\n

The Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been trying all his tricks to pamper Prime Minister Narendra Modi and glue to the National Democratic Alliance at the Centre.<\/p>\n

But KCR showed all the importance given to Modi by his deeds. He almost supported all the causes for the Modi. KCR supported demonitisation, GST and also the presidential candidate which was very crucial to the NDA Government.<\/p>\n

But Naidu is also trying to be in good books of PM from time to time and has been trying all the methods. It was evident from Naidu\u2019s over-action in Delhi during the filing of nominations of NDA\u2019s presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind.<\/p>\n

While Modi was the first person to sign the first set of nominations on behalf of Kovind, Naidu managed to get the chance to file the second set of nominations, thanks to the intense lobbying by his close friend and Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu.<\/p>\n

He did not even mind sitting in the second row while Modi was proposing the nomination of Kovind, though Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar was taking the front row. Even KCR who got all the importance with Modi maintained a low profile and did not show of during the Presidents nomination.<\/p>\n

Even after the nomination process, Naidu tried to move closely with Modi so as to give the impression that he is the most loyal ally of the NDA and that people must think that he was getting all the importance in Delhi.<\/p>\n

However, Modi was more eager to shake hands with Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao and ask him about the monsoon in the state and other things it is reported.<\/p>\n

On the other hand Modi also sought to use the services of Naidu in mobilising the support of as many parties as possible, particularly West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll that Naidu wants is to see is that Modi will not entertain YSR Congress party leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. That is precisely the main reason that Babu is running around Modi and NDA.
