Rajinikanth, who is currently shooting for Kaala in Mumbai, had recently told his fans \u201cget ready for war when it comes to them,\u201dwhen he met them in Chennai last month.<\/p>\n

People close to the actor said that he had been discussing politics and are confident that he will take the plunge this time around. While his fans have been strictly asked not to participate in television debates without permission, senior members of the fan clubs are confident that he is likely to make a big announcement on his birthday on December 12.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has some great plans. It does look like he is serious this time,\u201d said a person who has worked with him in one of his recent films.<\/p>\n
The actor has two releases next year \u2014 director Shankar\u2019s 3-D science fiction film 2.0 and Pa. Ranjith\u2019s Kaala for which he is currently shooting.
