Newspaper splashed full-page ads of Prime Minister Narendra Modi \u201cendorsing\u201d Reliance Jio. Is this right or wrong the Press council of India should spell out.<\/p>\n<p>Several editions of English dailies, Times of India and Hindustan Times, carried front-page advertisements of Reliance Jio featuring the Prime Minister with the captions, \u201cDedicated to India and 1.2 billion Indians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Modi advertisement reads, \u201cIn the journey of time, there comes a few life-changing movements. Our Honourable Prime Minister\u2019s inspiring vision of Digital India is one such movement. Jio is dedicated to realising our Prime Minister\u2019s Digital India vision for 1.2 billion Indians.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9226 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/getimage-1.jpg\" alt=\"Narendra modi\" width=\"369\" height=\"508\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jio Digital Life will give the power of data to each Indian, to fulfill every dream and collectively take India to the global digital leadership\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Opposition leaders and many other hit out at the Prime Minister, some calling him a \u201cstooge\u201d of the richest man in India. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has always been at loggerheads with the Centre, launched the attack on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>People must decide if Ambanis were using Modi or Modi is using JIO for his Government campaign indirectly.
