{"id":90897,"date":"2017-06-12T10:55:15","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T05:25:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=90897"},"modified":"2017-06-12T10:55:15","modified_gmt":"2017-06-12T05:25:15","slug":"fatwa-ajmer-dargah-chief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/fatwa-ajmer-dargah-chief\/","title":{"rendered":"Fatwa against Ajmer Dargah chief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A &#8216;fatwa&#8217; has been issued against the spiritual head of Ajmer Dargah, Syed Zainul Abedin, nearly two months after he announced his decision to give up beef and extended his support to overhaul the practice of instant talaq.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to media, the fatwa calls for \u201csocial boycott\u201d of the \u201cignorant Muslim\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sher Mohammad Khan, head of Darul Uloom Ishaqiya, Jodhpur, has issued the fatwa against the Ajmer Dargah shrine head.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fatwa slammed the views of Ajmer Dargah\u2019s Dewan and stated that \u201cthe words uttered by Syed Zainul Abdein were against the word of Allah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-90899 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3-3.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"685\" height=\"353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3-3.jpg 960w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/3-3-768x396.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 685px) 100vw, 685px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the annual Urs ceremony in April at Ajmer Dargah, Abedin had announced his and his family\u2019s decision to give up beef forever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He had also called out flaws in the practice of triple talaq and said that Sharia and Quran never permitted such a practice of divorce in one sitting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-90900 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/images-1.jpg\" alt=\"images (1)\" width=\"617\" height=\"370\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quoting verses from Quran, Darul Uloom Ishaqiya chief said, \u201cThe mention of divorce is there in Quran and the three-layered divorce is also mentioned. Though the practice of instant divorce is not an appropriate form in the eyes of the almighty, but still it is valid and you cannot deny it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By denying this, the Dewan has gone against the word of Allah.
