{"id":84358,"date":"2017-05-18T10:22:08","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T04:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=84358"},"modified":"2017-05-18T10:22:08","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T04:52:08","slug":"jadhavs-execution-verdict-3-30pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/jadhavs-execution-verdict-3-30pm\/","title":{"rendered":"Jadhavs execution verdict @3.30pm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The International Court of Justice (ICJ) will on Thursday give its ruling on India\u2019s appeal to stay the execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav, a former Indian Navy officer sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court for alleged espionage.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict will be announced at 3.30 pm Indian time, three days after the United Nations\u2019 highest court in the Hague heard arguments by India and Pakistan.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-84359 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/58280798.jpg\" alt=\" Jadhavs execution verdict @3.30pm\" width=\"508\" height=\"381\" \/><br \/>\nA brief statement posted on the ICJ\u2019s website said: \u201cA public sitting will take place at 12 noon at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which Judge Ronny Abraham, President of the Court, will read the court\u2019s decision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan says Jadhav, 46, was arrested in March last year in the restive Balochistan province. In April, a military court sentenced him to death for alleged involvement in spying and subversive activities.
