However, while Indians may be dejected, a US woman has decided to take up the protest by wearing a sari in the recent march after Trump completed 100 days as President.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stacy Jacobs clearly stood out at the recent 100 days of resistance because she wore a sari in protest. The US woman has worn the #protestsaree in the march against the ban on Muslims and several other issues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-81091 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/american-woman-saree-protest_650x400_51493448558-1.jpg\" alt=\"The saris protest against Trump\" width=\"650\" height=\"378\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jacobs has been a fan of Indian sarees for quite a while and fell in love with textiles when she came to Chennai in 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stacy used the attire because it would help her stand out in the crowd and make her point while supporting South Asians at the same time too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is also an attempt by her to support people who were wrongfully racially attacked in the US from time to time and it looks like she is certainly making a difference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Right from the day Trump took over as the President, people from various sections have been protesting against him.
