{"id":78381,"date":"2017-04-19T10:08:20","date_gmt":"2017-04-19T04:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=78381"},"modified":"2017-04-19T10:08:20","modified_gmt":"2017-04-19T04:38:20","slug":"donald-trump-impeached","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/donald-trump-impeached\/","title":{"rendered":"Donald Trump impeached ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A 75-year-old man in the US has died \u201cpeacefully\u201d after his ex-wife lied to him that President Donald Trump was impeached from his office, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Michael Garland Elliott, a keen follower of the news, would regularly voice his disapproval of Trump, until ill- health left him unable to communicate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He died \u201cpeacefully\u201d on April 6 after his \u201cex-wife and best friend\u201d Teresa Elliott informed him that \u201cDonald Trump has been impeached,\u201d his obituary in The Oregonian said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-78383\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Donald-Trump-impeachment.jpg\" alt=\"Donald Trump impeached ?\" width=\"940\" height=\"545\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Donald-Trump-impeachment.jpg 940w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Donald-Trump-impeachment-768x445.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Teresa, 68, said she lied to him over the phone from her Austin, Texas home.\u201cI knew it was his very, very last moments,\u201d Teresa Elliott.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI knew that would bring him comfort and it did. He then took his final breath,\u201d Teresa was quoted as saying by the New York Daily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Michael died from congestive heart failure after his health had declined over the years, she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The obituary also said he \u201cpassed away &#8230; surrounded by people who loved him dearly and cared for him selflessly during the last months of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She described Michael as a \u201cnews junkie\u201d who had expressed his disapproval of the President frequently until he could not communicate it verbally.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cHe hated his effing guts,\u201d she said of Michael\u2019s attitude towards the President.Though the pair divorced 20 years ago, Teresa said she always cared for Michael and would visit him often.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Asked whether she regretted telling Michael of the false news, Teresa Elliott replied: \u201cOh God no.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 75-year-old man in the US has died \u201cpeacefully\u201d after his ex-wife lied to him that President Donald Trump was impeached from his office, according to media reports.
