On Sunday, he became the youngest boy in Telangana to pass the intermediate examination, or Class 12.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A student of St Mary\u2019s Junior College at Yousufguda, the 11-year-old scored 63% marks, with commerce, economics and civics as his main subjects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI want to do my graduation in commerce in the next three years but my ultimate goal is to be a doctor,\u201d Agastya told HT hours after the result was announced.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A commerce graduate and a doctor? Well, Agastya has a plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After he completes BCom, he will repeat intermediate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-77958 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/ag.jpg\" alt=\"ag\" width=\"960\" height=\"635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/ag.jpg 960w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/ag-768x508.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c&#8230;but with biology, physics and chemistry. I will then write medical entrance exam and get a seat in an MBBS course,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agastya needs to be back in junior college also because he has to be at least 17, the average age at which a student passes Class 12, to sit the test to get into a medical college.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And, he doesn\u2019t want to waste time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cI don\u2019t want to sit idle and want to go ahead with BCom,\u201d said Agastya, who was all of eight when he passed Class 10.
