{"id":75828,"date":"2017-04-07T16:54:27","date_gmt":"2017-04-07T11:24:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=75828"},"modified":"2017-04-07T16:55:46","modified_gmt":"2017-04-07T11:25:46","slug":"bjp-tarun-stokes-racism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/bjp-tarun-stokes-racism\/","title":{"rendered":"BJP Tarun stokes racism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Former BJP parliamentarian Tarun Vijay waded into a racism row on Friday after a video of the politician making apparently racist remarks about \u201csouth Indians\u201d went viral on social media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vijay was invited by news channel Al Jazeera\u2019s online show The Stream to discuss a string of recent attacks on African students in Greater Noida. During his defence of India and its culture, the former Rajya Sabha MP made the controversial remark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIf we were racist, why would we have all the entire south\u2026Tamil, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra\u2026why do we live with them?
