The names of the winners of 64th National Awards were announced today at the National Media Centre in New Delhi .<\/p>\n

The 64th National Awards jury is headed by Priyadarshan.<\/p>\n

Over 300 films vied for the top spot this year. The process to choose the best from Indian cinema began on March 16 and the winners will be announced today.<\/p>\n

Best Actress award goes to Surabhi for Minnaminungu<\/p>\n

Rajesh Mapuska bags Best Director for his Marathi film ‘Ventilator’<\/p>\n

Best Female Supporting Actor award goes Zaira Wasim for Dangal<\/p>\n

Marathi film ‘Kaasav’ named the Best Feature film<\/p>\n

Best Editing goes to Marathi film ‘Ventilator’<\/p>\n

Best Writing award is given to G Dhananjay<\/p>\n

Uttar Pradesh is selected ‘Most Film Friendly State’<\/p>\n

Special mention Award to Jharkand<\/p>\n

Special Mention to Sonam Kapoor\u2019s ‘Neerja’<\/p>\n

Best Tamil movie: ‘Joker’<\/p>\n

Best Malayalam Movie: Maheshinte Prathikaaram<\/p>\n

Best Special Effect Award: Shivaay<\/p>\n

Best Bengali Film conferred to Bisarjan<\/p>\n

Best Lyrics went to song ‘Endha Pakkam’ from film ‘Dharma Durai’<\/p>\n

Best Action Director: Puli Murugan<\/p>\n

Best film on social issues is Pink<\/p>\n

Award for Best children film goes to Dhanak<\/p>\n

Best Environmental film including agriculture conferred to ‘The Tiger who crossed the line’<\/p>\n

Indira Gandhi Award for debut director is Khalifa (Bengali)<\/p>\n

Best action director and stunt choreographer is Peter Haines for Pulimurugan<\/p>\n
