{"id":71351,"date":"2017-03-26T14:59:58","date_gmt":"2017-03-26T09:29:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=71351"},"modified":"2017-03-26T14:59:58","modified_gmt":"2017-03-26T09:29:58","slug":"development-for-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/development-for-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Development for all"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his thoughts on a number of themes and issues in the 30th edition of his radio address programme &#8216;Mann Ki Baat&#8217; today.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prime Minister Modi greeted Bangladesh on its 45th Independence Day.<\/li>\n<li>India will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Bangladesh: Modi<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of the death penalty given to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Rajguru, who were executed on March 23, 1931, Modi said they were not scared of death but lived and died for the nation.<\/li>\n<li>Modi said India marks 100 years of Mahatma Gandhi&#8217;s Champaran Satyagraha today. This was one of the first Gandhian movements in the country, Modi said.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The Champaran Satyagraha showed us how special Mahatma Gandhi was and how unique his personality was.\u00a0Gandhi taught not through words but through action on how to take on the powers that be,&#8221; the PM said.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;&#8216;New India&#8217;\u00a0is not a political manifesto or a programme. It is the unified call\u00a0and dream of 125 crore Indians,&#8221; Modi stated speaking about the controversial message he sent out a day after the BJP\u2019s UP poll win.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;New India manifests the strength and skills of 125 crore Indians, who will create a &#8216;Bhavya and Divya\u00a0Bharat'&#8221;, Modi said.<\/li>\n<li>Modi urged citizens to join the \u2018New India\u2019 movement and resolve to become more responsible. \u201cIf 125 crore indian resolve to transform India, then we can realise the dream,\u201d he said.<\/li>\n<li>On black money, the PM said that people had rejected it along with corruption, and embraced digital transactions. The PM claimed that 1.5 crore Indians had now embraced digitisation.<\/li>\n<li>The Prime Minister pitched for combating the problem of depression among youth. &#8220;Depression can be overcome. We all can play a role in helping those suffering from depression overcome it,&#8221; Modi said. Modi pointed out that it was always good to share your feelings with others if you were depressed.<\/li>\n<li>On food wastage in the country, Modi said he knows of several youngsters who are using technology to prevent such wastage.<\/li>\n<li>Modi appealed to the people to suggest ways to promote yoga, in view of the 3rd International Yoga Day coming up on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1165089374\"><span class=\"aQJ\">June 21<\/span><\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his thoughts on a number of themes and issues in the 30th edition of his radio address programme &#8216;Mann Ki Baat&#8217; today.
