Thomas Parker Waller Primary School on Anna Salai also announced a holiday while another branch associated with the school remained open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-40038\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/img-20161204-wa0011-converted-04-1480875635.jpg\" alt=\"Schools closed in Tamil Nadu \" width=\"467\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Schools including PSBB, KK Nagar, and Vidya Mandir, Mylapore, were functioning as usual. Schools in Coimbatore didn&#8217;t declare a holiday as &#8220;there was no instruction from the education department.&#8221;Parents were a confused lot on Monday morning. There were contradictory messages in parents&#8217; WhatsApp groups. A number of social media messages regarding holidays had been doing the rounds since Sunday evening. However, education department refuted them.
