{"id":32019,"date":"2016-11-09T09:14:19","date_gmt":"2016-11-09T09:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=32019"},"modified":"2016-11-09T09:14:29","modified_gmt":"2016-11-09T09:14:29","slug":"i-am-not-a-broker-says-raj-thackeray","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/i-am-not-a-broker-says-raj-thackeray\/","title":{"rendered":"I am not a broker says Raj Thackeray"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray teared into the opposition for levelling allegations against him and spreading \u201clies\u201d of \u201cbrokering a deal\u201d in the release of bollywood film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and said his party\u2019s stand on the matter was \u201cclean and clear\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen we sought a ban on the film, some people launched a propaganda that I was doing it because there were elections coming up and started spreading lies that I had brokered a deal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But, let me tell these people that Raj Thackeray is not for sale and our stand on the issue is clean and clear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-32020\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/1439373216-4461.jpg\" alt=\"I am not a broker says Raj Thackeray\" width=\"673\" height=\"504\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWhen the movie was being filmed, I knew there were Pakistani artistes and they (the filmmakers) were warned that time. But, they did not listen,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The MNS chief was here to address a congregation of party workers ahead of the ensuing elections to a number of civic bodies, including Pune.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-32021\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/raj-thackeray-adhm-759.jpg\" alt=\"I am not a broker says Raj Thackeray\" width=\"759\" height=\"422\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOur soldiers are fighting and getting martyred on the border and these people are rolling out a red carpet for Pakistani artistes. \u201cAfter our agitation, the producers clarified that they will not take any Pakistani actor in their films henceforth and that is what we wanted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">exhorting party workers to get ready for the civic polls, Thackeray said, \u201cDo not think of only getting poll tickets but think of how, as a representative, you will work for the people and the city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He lambasted those MNS workers who had switched their loyalties ahead of the elections.
