{"id":30302,"date":"2016-11-04T08:08:54","date_gmt":"2016-11-04T08:08:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=30302"},"modified":"2016-11-04T08:38:24","modified_gmt":"2016-11-04T08:38:24","slug":"hillary-keeps-donal-trump-30-points-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/hillary-keeps-donal-trump-30-points-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Hillary keeps Donald Trump 30 points away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hillary Clinton is besting Donald Trump by an historic 30-point margin among Florida Hispanics, according to a new bipartisan poll that indicates Latinos could play an outsized role in delivering the White House to a Democrat for the third election in a row.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Clinton\u2019s 60 percent to 30 percent advantage over Trump with Florida Hispanics overall is fueled by outsized support from voters of Puerto Rican descent, who favor her 71 perccent to 19 percent, according to the survey of 800 likely Hispanic voters jointly conducted for Univision by Republican-leaning Tarrance Group and Democratic-leaning Bendixen &amp; Amandi International.<br \/>\nStory Continued Below<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trump, meanwhile, has relatively weak backing from Cuban-Americans. They historically vote Republican but only support him over Clinton by 49 percent to 42 percent, the poll shows. And Hispanic voters of other national origins heavily prefer Clinton over Trump by 71 percent to 20 percent. The overall margin of error for the poll is 3.5 points.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30303\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/xid240nje6k-5ml0q3gbkpidbgzfs66-large.jpg\" alt=\"Hillary keeps Donal Trump 30 points away \" width=\"713\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/xid240nje6k-5ml0q3gbkpidbgzfs66-large.jpg 620w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/xid240nje6k-5ml0q3gbkpidbgzfs66-large-500x280.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 713px) 100vw, 713px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThese Florida numbers are not only ominous for Donald Trump \u2014 they\u2019re downright terrifying for Republicans nationwide,\u201d said Fernand Amandi,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bendixen &amp; Amandi\u2019s pollster, who called Clinton\u2019s 30-point margin \u201chistoric.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cThe share of the Hispanic vote is growing every election and this will be the third presidential election in Florida where Hispanics trend heavily against the GOP,\u201d Amandi said. \u201cAnd if that continues, it could turn Florida into the next California in future presidential elections, a blue anchor state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Without Florida\u2019s 29 Electoral College votes, Republicans generally can\u2019t win the White House.<br \/>\nThe Florida Republican best-situated to appeal to Hispanics in the nation\u2019s biggest battleground state: Sen. Marco Rubio, although he\u2019s now losing the state\u2019s Hispanic vote overall to Democratic Congressman Patrick Murphy by 44 percent to 50 percent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30304\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/1920.jpg\" alt=\"Hillary keeps Donal Trump 30 points away \" width=\"773\" height=\"515\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/1920.jpg 1920w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/1920-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 773px) 100vw, 773px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a bilingual Cuban-American who\u2019s well known in Florida and hails from the Miami-area, Rubio has built-in advantages that few Republicans in the state have. Murphy, meanwhile, is little-known.<br \/>\nThanks to the strong support of non-Hispanic white voters, Rubio has been beating Murphy overall in dozens of other statewide polls of the entire electorate. Trump, too, enjoys the disproportionate support of white voters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30305\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-main-ae8fd71e-c724-4636-a743-4ab70ec99712.jpg\" alt=\"Hillary keeps Donal Trump 30 points away \" width=\"808\" height=\"424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-main-ae8fd71e-c724-4636-a743-4ab70ec99712.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/hillary-clinton-donald-trump-main-ae8fd71e-c724-4636-a743-4ab70ec99712-768x403.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 808px) 100vw, 808px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unlike Rubio, Trump has terrible Hispanic support numbers that make his path to a Florida win much harder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hispanics account for almost 16 percent of Florida\u2019s 12.9 million active registered voters. In 2012, they were about 14 percent of the registered voters.
