Earlier several states including Delhi have given hike to the Legislators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Members of Parliament can soon expect a steep hike in salary as the Centre has decided to give a 100 percent raise, taking their basic pay from Rs 50,000 to one lakh per month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29836\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/parliament-istock_650x400_51461680945.jpg\" alt=\"online news portal\" width=\"650\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Prime Minister&#8217;s Office (PMO) is learnt to have agreed to consider a recommendation made by the Joint Committee on Salaries and Allowances of Members of Parliament, which is headed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The PMO is believed to have agreed to revise not only the Parliamentarians&#8217; salary but also their allowances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29837\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/800x480_IMAGE55679372.jpg\" alt=\"online news portal\" width=\"759\" height=\"422\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The government has recently increased President&#8217;s salary from current Rs. 1.5 lakh per month to Rs. 5 lakh and the Governor&#8217;s salary from current Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 2.5 lakh per month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The President of India got the salary hike and now the MPs will get the same .
