Twitter shut down Vine this week and released a statement that the mobile app will also be discontinuing in the following months. Vine faced tough competition from Snapchat and Instagram, following which it suffered losses, sacked 9 per cent of staff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSince 2013, millions of people have turned to Vine to laugh at loops and see creativity unfold. Today, we are sharing the news that in the coming months we\u2019ll be discontinuing the mobile app,\u201d wrote Vine on their blog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNothing is happening to the apps, website or your Vines today. We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way. You\u2019ll be able to access and download your Vines. We\u2019ll be keeping the website online because we think it\u2019s important to still be able to watch all the incredible Vines that have been made.
