Saira Banu\u2019s lawyer, Vandana Shah, said in a latest interview with a podcaster that reconciliation between AR Rahman and Saira Banu is very possible. \u201cI have not said that reconciliation is not possible. I am an eternal optimist, and I always talk about love and romance.<\/p>\n
The joint statement is quite clear. It talks about pain and separation. It\u2019s a long marriage, and a lot of thought has gone into coming to this decision, but nowhere have I said that reconciliation is not possible,\u201d said Vandana.<\/p>\n
Vandana, however, refused to comment on alimony and went on to say that the custody of AR Rahman and Saira Banu\u2019s three children remains undecided as the children are adults and are free to choose where they want to reside. ARR and Saira Banu were married for 29 years and are parents to three children.<\/p>\n
