On the Andhra-Telangana issue, Harish Rao the former Minister said what happened was between the two MLAs. Comments aimed at each other by the two MLAs are \u201cbeing twisted into some kind of an Andhra-Telangana battle now.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said that had the DGP ensured Gandhi\u2019s arrest on Thursday before he and his followers attacked Kaushik Reddy\u2019s house, there would have been no controversy. \u201cBut it was the police who provided security forGandhi and watched as he and his followers ran amok,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Charging Revanth Reddy and the DGP as being \u201cresponsible for the attack,\u201d Rao said \u201cafter causing the damage, they are now trying to cover it up.\u201d He also accused Revanth Reddy of \u201corchestrating political vendettas and causing the collapse of law and order in the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister, he said, is \u201cresponsible for the breakdown of law and order in Telangana. It\u2019s disgraceful that after contributing to this collapse, he now speaks about Hyderabad and Telangana\u2019s brand image.<\/p>\n
