{"id":248184,"date":"2024-04-03T07:27:21","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T01:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=248184"},"modified":"2024-04-03T07:27:21","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T01:57:21","slug":"kalyana-venkata-pushpa-yagam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/kalyana-venkata-pushpa-yagam\/","title":{"rendered":"Kalyana Venkata Pushpa Yagam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The annual Pushpayagam in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple will be observed by TTD on April 4 with Ankurarpanam on April 3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The annual brahmotsavams in this famous shrine were held from February 29 to March 8 in a grand manner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a \u201cPrayaschita\u201d to the sins committed either knowingly or unknowingly by the religious, temple staffs and even devotees, Pushpa Yagam is observed as an annual fete.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The processional deities of Sri Kalyana Venkateswara, Sridevi and Bhudevi will be rendered a floral bath on this auspicious day with several tonnes of varieties of traditional and ornamental flowers between 2pm and 4pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier during the day Snapana Tirumanjanam will also be rendered to the processional deities between 10am and 11am.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The temple authorities have cancelled Astottara Sata Kalashabisekam on April 3, Tiruppavada and Nitya Kalyanotsavam on April 4 owing to the annual Pushpayagam rituals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The annual Pushpayagam in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple will be observed by TTD on April 4 with Ankurarpanam on April 3.
