Revanth Reddy, the Congress has mounted an all-out effort to oust the ruling party and is confident of triumphing with a clear majority. The Congress is banking on its Six Guarantees and its manifesto.<\/p>\n
The BJP, which conducted an elaborate campaign with a host of top leaders, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union minister Amit Shah and state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy, is expecting a hung Assembly.<\/p>\n
The BRS hopes to play a key role in government formation by winning a significant number of seats.In 2018, the Congress won 19 seats and the BJP one seat, which was later boosted to three by byelections.<\/p>\n
Gajwel, Chief Minister Rao’s original constituency, and Kamareddy, from where he is also contesting, have become the cynosure of all attention.<\/p>\n
