Chandrasekhar Rao has hinted that several posts for the Minorities would filled by this month end. On the eve of Dasara KCR hosted a lunch to some of the minorities and elicited their opinions as to what was happening in reality at the grass root level in TS. Some of the members complained against the attitude of MIM in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They wanted an alternative to MIM here. Unable to take on the leaders directly KCR just went inside and came back for the meeting after some time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24362\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/mahmood-ali-with-KCR1.jpg\" alt=\"mahmood-ali-with-KCR1\" width=\"620\" height=\"376\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The responsibility of selecting the minority leaders for the posts was left to Deputy CM Mahmood Ali and the final touch will be given by the Minister for IT K T Rama Rao who is in USA at present.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the other hand the CM hinted at bringing in legislation that would ensure that government staff is held accountable for services offered to the public.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The Chief Minister observed that together with the formation of the new district units, that were aimed at bringing the administration closer to the people, the government will also bring in legislation to make employees accountable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Such legislation is in force when it comes to applications for setting up industries in the state. A penalty clause comes into effect if officers responsible for clearing various applications default.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-24360\" src=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/offices.jpg\" alt=\"offices\" width=\"635\" height=\"355\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/offices.jpg 635w, https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/offices-500x280.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe understand that the Chief Minister wants to bring an Act \u2014 on the lines of TSiPass Act \u2014 to empower the government to take action against those erring officials, who fail to address various public issues in a stipulated time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They said presently there is no accountability on an officer for clearing various applications like seeking ration card, pension, scholarship, etc., within a stipulated time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If a law in place, there will be statutory obligation on each and every employee to attend to various public issues. \u201cSometimes officials asks the public whoever approach them to go and verify their status online which is not possible for general public who are unable to access them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Telangana state Chief Minister K.
