Nayakan hero Kamal Hassan today unveiled the statue of veteran actor and superstar Ghattamaneni Krishna, the father of Prince Mahesh Babu, one of the top actors of his era in Vijayawada.<\/p>\n
Kamal Haasan along with East Constituency YSRCP in charge Devineni Avinash unveiled the statue of Krishna installed in Guru Nanak Colony,<\/p>\n
Special thanks on behalf of Krishna\u2019s family members to CM Jagan for helping to set up the Hero Krishna statue within ten days,\u201d Devineni Avinash stated.<\/p>\n
Hero Krishna, originally known as Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, did around 350 films. He was also a producer and director. In 2009, he received the Padma Bhushan Award.<\/p>\n
He entered Telugu cinema with Adurthi Subba Rao\u2019s romantic drama \u2018Thene Manasulu\u2019 in 1965.<\/p>\n
Krishna passed away on November 15, 2022, in Hyderabad due to health issues.
\nMeanwhile, on the work front, Kamal Haasan will be seen in Mani Ratnam\u2019s next called Thugh life.<\/p>\n
