{"id":241963,"date":"2023-10-01T10:36:40","date_gmt":"2023-10-01T05:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=241963"},"modified":"2023-10-01T10:36:40","modified_gmt":"2023-10-01T05:06:40","slug":"hca-elections-in-october","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/hca-elections-in-october\/","title":{"rendered":"HCA elections in October"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The much-awaited elections for the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) will be held on October 20.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The elections will be held for the posts of President, Vice-president, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer and for the Councilor, Election Officer Sampath Kumar said in the notice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier the last elections for the HCA were held in September 2019 which was won by former Indian cricket captain Azharuddin and his panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, his term was over in September 2020 and elections were due since then.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, the impasse over the HCA elections forced the Supreme Court to appoint a single-member panel of L Nageswar Rao to oversee the election process and conduct elections, in February this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The elections have become a controversy many times. Vivek Venkat Swamy the former MP also tried to contest the elections.
