Later speaking to media he said the Vratam bestows prosperity on humanity.<\/p>\n
He said the event was conducted in a successful manner with a clear action plan by all departments of TTD. \u201dAnnaprasadam, water was distributed to devotees with a perfect queue system and devotees were provided with hassle-free darshan. It\u2019s a lifetime divine opportunity for me to take part in this sacred Vratam\u201d, he maintained.<\/p>\n
The Varalakshmi Vratam performed at Astana Mandapam in Tiruchanoor on Friday witnessed sea of humanity participating in the religious event directly and virtually as well.<\/p>\n
The decorations made by the electrical and garden departments of TTD matched the occasion. The vedika where Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi seated and observed the Vratam was tastefully decorated with two tonnes of flowers and 20 thousand cut flowers with the contribution of a donor from Chennai.<\/p>\n
Archaka Srinivasan performed the Vratam as stated in Bhavishyottara Puranam while Sri Babu Swamy recited the shlokas. When over a thousand devotees participated in the live Vratam another thousand witnessed Virtually while scores of pilgrims who thronged Tiruchanoor watched the mega religious event through the giant LED screens placed at four places surrounding the temple. Millions watched the live programme on SVBC across the globe between 10am and 12noon.<\/p>\n
Goddess of Riches and Prosperity, Sri Padmavathi Devi was taken on a celestial ride on Swarna Ratham in four Mada streets of Tiruchanoor on Friday evening.<\/p>\n
