After the bifurcation of<br \/>\nthe state, the Telangana government set up another 93 boys&amp;#39; hostels and 173<br \/>\ngirls&amp;#39; hostels. In addition to these, another 30 dormitories have been set up for<\/p>\n<p>women studying for degrees. With this, after the formation of Telangana state,<br \/>\nthe number of these reached 268.<\/p>\n<p>Quality accommodation and dining facilities with special funds:-<br \/>\nThe Telangana government has provided quality food facilities to the<br \/>\nstudents, realizing that health and physical well-being are also important for the<br \/>\nstudents. In all the hostels, the meal menu includes nutritious food along with<br \/>\nlow-fat rice. For that, the government is providing them with the necessary funds.<br \/>\nIn the year 2014-2015, Rs.394.93 crores were sanctioned to the society and for<br \/>\nthe year 2015-2016 Rs. 501.87 crore increased to Rs. Thus every year from the<br \/>\nformation of Telangana to the year 2023-2024, Rs. 6684.3 crore has been spent.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment of best teachers:-<br \/>\nThe government has paid attention to the appointment of the best<br \/>\nteachers. Government identified 2782 vacancies across the state and filled 2337<br \/>\nposts through TSPSC. TREI-RB has filled 1054 posts out of 1162 vacancies.<br \/>\nArrangements are being made to fill up 2538 posts.<\/p>\n<p>Achievements:-<br \/>\nThis society is working for the welfare of scheduled caste students and is<br \/>\nachieving great success. Students have shown their potential in all the<br \/>\nexaminations conducted in the academic year 2022-2023. The pass percentage in<br \/>\nclass X examinations was 86.60 in other educational institutions while the pass<br \/>\npercentage of society students was 95.50. In the senior inter examinations, the<br \/>\npass percentage of other educational institutions was 67.26 per cent while the<br \/>\nstudents of the society achieved 89.04 per cent. The pass percentage of the<br \/>\nstudents here is 74.81 if the junior inter 62.85 across the state.<\/p>\n<p>Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society is<br \/>\nmoving ahead with great achievements. The students who have studied here are<br \/>\nprogressing by achieving success in sports competitions. Students here have<br \/>\nachieved a total of 753 schemes in state, national and international sports<br \/>\ncompetitions. A student named Ashok is working as a flying officer in the National<br \/>\nDefence Academy. Many students have got employment opportunities in private<br \/>\nand government sectors as well.<\/p>\n<p>Ambedkar Buildings and Statues :-<br \/>\nAfter the formation of the state in 2014, by March 2023, 910 SC community<br \/>\nhalls have been constructed in Telangana at a cost of 140 crores. By approving the<br \/>\nconstruction of Bhavans and statues, the state government has allocated Rs.<br \/>\n368.27 crore has been sanctioned. 96 of these works have already been<br \/>\ncompleted. Another 319 works undertaken with 40 crores are in various stages.<br \/>\nFrom 2014-15 to 2022-23, the government Rs. 140.55 crore has been spent.<br \/>\n125 feet statue of Ambedkar, the largest in the country:-<br \/>\nIn addition to spreading Ambedkar&amp;#39;s aspirations to the world, Telangana<br \/>\nstate government erected the world&amp;#39;s largest 125 feet tall &amp;#39;Ambedkar statue&amp;#39; in<br \/>\nthe spirit of Chief Minister KCR&amp;#39;s ideas with the aim of motivating people&amp;#39;s<br \/>\nrepresentatives and authorities to achieve those aspirations. Hon\u2019ble Chief<br \/>\nMinister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao announced and laid the foundation<br \/>\nstone in the 125th Ambedkar Jayanti program organized on 14th April 2016 to<br \/>\nestablish a memorial named after Ambedkar. After the completion of the<br \/>\nconstruction, on 14th April 2023, Chief Minister unveiled the 125 feet statue of<br \/>\nDr. BR Ambedkar along with Ambedkar&amp;#39;s grandson and former Lok Sabha member<br \/>\nPrakash Ambedkar. The project has been built on a total area of 11.6 acres in the<br \/>\nvicinity of NTR Gardens on Necklace Road. The precinct where the Maha Vigraha<br \/>\nis located is up to six acres. The statue of Ambedkar was designed by Sthapathi<br \/>\nRam Ji Sutar of Gonduru village in Dhule district of Maharashtra. The government<br \/>\nspent Rs. 146.50 crore for this event.<\/p>\n<p>Ambedkar Name for Telangana Secretariat :-<br \/>\nCM KCR felt that Telangana State, which has been a model for the country<br \/>\nin the past, moving forward with vision in all fields, will be an inspiration to the<br \/>\ncountry in governance by naming the state secretariat after Ambedkar Mahasaya.<br \/>\nOn June 27, 2019, Chief Minister KCR Bhoomipuja laid the foundation stone for<br \/>\nthe construction of the new building. The famous architects Dr. Sir and Ponni<br \/>\nConcessao acted as designers for the construction of the secretariat. The new<br \/>\nsecretariat is based on the current model approved by CM KCR. The new<br \/>\nSecretariat was constructed by Shahpur Ji Pallonji and Company Pvt. Ltd. After the<br \/>\nwork started, the construction was completed in a record time of 26 months. CM<br \/>\nKCR has named the new Secretariat, which has been constructed on 2.5 acres of a<br \/>\ntotal area of 28 acres, as &amp;quot;Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat&amp;quot;. On April<br \/>\n30, 2023, the Chief Minister of Telangana State, Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao,<br \/>\ninaugurated the new Secretariat with grandeur in the Simha Lagna Muhurtham.<br \/>\nThe new secretariat is the platform for the progress of the state. This building is<br \/>\nbuilt to boost self-confidence in every Telangana person.
