{"id":238867,"date":"2023-07-01T19:05:46","date_gmt":"2023-07-01T13:35:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=238867"},"modified":"2023-07-01T19:05:46","modified_gmt":"2023-07-01T13:35:46","slug":"energy-transition-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/energy-transition-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Energy transition meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">State level steering Committee meeting on energy transition in the state met under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari today.\u00a0 The main objective of the state level committee is to develop and implement carbon emission intensity reduction roadmap of the state and to transfer from convention to non conventional energy.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chief Secretary said that the cumulative capacity of renewable energy in the state is 6335 MW.\u00a0 Telangana is one of the leading states in the country to adopt renewables in its energy mix.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Renewable energy adoption has increased from 9.8% in FY 23 to 14.1% ( energy Terms) in FY 24.\u00a0 The share of renewable energy In terms of Installed capacity is around 25 per cent.\u00a0 She noted that Telangana is one of the leading states in adopting Energy Conservation Measures and it aims to promote the Energy Efficiency Appliances and Conservation measures to the public usage.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chief Secretary directed the MD TSREDCO to\u00a0 come out\u00a0 with specific proposal duly identifying the village and mandal wise location for providing lands to TSREDCO for installation of EV Charging\u00a0 stations.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Special Chief Secretary Energy Sunil Sharma stated that the Telangana State Solar Policy 2015- Issued in 2015 with the promotional benefits &amp; incentives to encourage the generation of solar power. He requested that necessary\u00a0 instructions should be issued to all the Government departments mandating to install Solar roof top systems through TSREDCO.\u00a0 Likewise,\u00a0 \u00a0instructions should be issued for mandating solar roof top for residential &amp; commercial\u00a0 \u00a0and linking to building permission at all Municipalities and ULB\u2019s of the state.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meeting also discussed formation of State Level Committee on Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation&#8221; (SATAT) for promotion &amp; implementation of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) projects as per the Guidelines of the Government of India.
