Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) Department with support from the National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM), applied for the \u2018International Green Apple Awards for Beautiful Buildings\u2019 award under the Urban & Real Estate Sector, on behalf of the State Government of Telangana.<\/p>\n
Based on the applications made, the following five (5 nos.) entries have received awards in the urban sector:<\/p>\n
a. Mozzam-Jahi Market (in the Heritage category \u2013 for the excellent restoration and reuse)<\/p>\n
b. Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge ( in the Bridge category for the unique design)<\/p>\n
c. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat Building ( in the aesthetically designed
\nOffice\/workspace building category)<\/p>\n
d. Integrated Command Control Centre of the state police ( in the unique Office category )<\/p>\n
e. Yadagirigutta Temple (in the excellent Religious structures category)<\/p>\n
It is for the very first time that any building\/structures from India are being awarded the
