The first part of Ponniyin was a hit and collected around 5oo crore now Maniratnma ace director is releasing the second part. Whereas Baahuabli and RRR fever gripped the nation ahead of their releases.<\/p>\n
The first part did not do well in Telugu. So there are no expectations for the second part also.<\/p>\n
While PS 2 has a good buzz in Tamil, it doesn\u2019t have the desired craze in Telugu and other languages. The trailer of PS2 couldn\u2019t leave the mark compared to Baahubali 2 and RRR.<\/p>\n
In fact, not just Mani Ratnam, several filmmakers were inspired from Rajamouli\u2019s Baahubali. Gunasekhar\u2019s Rudhramadevi and Shaakuntalam were also scaled, and mounted higher considering Rajamouli\u2019s film.<\/p>\n
But Gunasekhar failed miserably.<\/p>\n
