The annual festival of Spring-Salakatla Vasanthotsavams will be observed in Tirumala between April 3-5.<\/p>\n
This three-day festival will be observed in such a way that it concludes on the auspicious Chaitra Suddha Pournami.<\/p>\n
Every day during these three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be observed between 2pm and 4pm. at Vasanta Mandapam in a grand manner.<\/p>\n
On the second day morning between 8am and 10am there will be a procession of the golden chariot.<\/p>\n
In connection with this festival, TTD has canceled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days while on April 4, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva also remains canceled.<\/p>\n
TTD is organizing the Sri Thumburu Thirtha Mukkoti fete located 7-1\/2 miles away from Sri Venkateshwara temple on April 6 on Uttara phalguni nakshatra on Pournami day during Phalguna month.<\/p>\n
Legends say that seven of the countless holy springs at seshachala forest range around Srivari temple brought a multitude of punya including Mukti to devotees. They are Swami Pushkarini, Kumaradhara, Thumburu thirtha , Ramakrishna thirtha, Akashaganga, Papavinasham and Pandava thirtha.<\/p>\n
On this auspicious day, a holy dip in the sacred springs located in a picturesque hill range is all set to earn huge dharmic dividends to devotees.<\/p>\n
