The annual festival of Spring-Salakatla Vasanthotsavams will be observed in Tirumala between April 3-5.<\/p>\n
This three day festival will be observed in such a way that it concludes on the auspicious Chaitra Suddha Pournami.<\/p>\n
Every day during these three days, Snapana Tirumanjanam will be observed between 2pm and 4pm. at Vasanta Mandapam in a grand manner.<\/p>\n
On the second day morning between 8am and 10am there will be a procession of the golden chariot.<\/p>\n
In connection with this festival, TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva Arjita Brahmotsavam, Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on these three days while on April 4, Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva also remains cancelled.<\/p>\n
In connection with Sri Sobhakrit Nama Ugadi, the traditional temple cleansing fete Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on March 21.<\/p>\n
The entire temple including the roof and walls of the sanctum sanctorum are cleansed with an aromatic mixture called Parimalam which will be smeared all along the premises.<\/p>\n
This will be observed between 6am and 11am and devotees will be allowed for darshan from 12noon onwards.<\/p>\n
