{"id":232508,"date":"2022-12-22T15:37:07","date_gmt":"2022-12-22T10:07:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=232508"},"modified":"2022-12-22T15:37:07","modified_gmt":"2022-12-22T10:07:07","slug":"harish-alerts-the-health-department","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/harish-alerts-the-health-department\/","title":{"rendered":"Harish alerts the health department"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Telangana state health minister T Harish Rao held a high-level meeting to review the preparedness for the situation arising out of the new variant of Corona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Director of public health Dr G Srinivasa Rao said there was no need for people to panic over the new variant of Corona, as the government machinery was fully prepared to handle the surge in Covid-19 infections.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAll that the people should do is to strictly follow the Covid-19 guidelines, including wearing of masks, maintaining of physical distancing and regular sanitisation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They should not let their guard down under any circumstances,\u201d Rao said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The director said a high alert had been sounded at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad, though there were no direct flights from South Africa to Hyderabad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The number of positive cases for Covid was stable in the state and there was no sudden increase in infections, he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Telangana state health minister T Harish Rao held a high-level meeting to review the preparedness for the situation arising out of the new variant of Corona.
