{"id":232079,"date":"2022-12-09T17:57:58","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T12:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=232079"},"modified":"2022-12-09T18:00:34","modified_gmt":"2022-12-09T12:30:34","slug":"the-issues-with-5g-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/the-issues-with-5g-services\/","title":{"rendered":"The issues with 5G services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) have started providing 5G services in the country from 01.10.2022 onwards and as of 26.11.2022, 5G services have started in 50 towns distributed over 14 States\/ Union Territories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As per the NIA for auction of access spectrum and license conditions, the minimum rollout obligations are required to be met over a period of five years in a phased manner from the date of allocation of spectrum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to facilitate faster and smooth rollout of telecom network (including 5G) and expansion of telecommunication infrastructure in the country, the Government has taken following policy initiatives:-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Making sufficient spectrum available for mobile services through auction<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Allowing spectrum sharing and trading<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Removal of additional Spectrum Usage Charge (SUC) of 0.5% for spectrum sharing<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Allowing sharing of infrastructure by the TSPs<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Notifying Indian Telegraph Right of Way (RoW) Rules, 2016 dated 15.11.2016 for regulating underground infrastructure and overground infrastructure and amendments (including Indian Telegraph RoW amendment rules, 2022) thereof.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This information was given by the Minister of State for Communications, Shri Devusinh Chauhan in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) have started providing 5G services in the country from 01.10.2022 onwards and as of 26.11.2022, 5G services have started in 50 towns distributed over 14 States\/ Union Territories.
