Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao laid the foundation stone for Hyderabad Airport Express this morning here at the Mind Space junction.<\/p>\n
He was accompanied by CS Somesh Kumar, Mayor , TRS Secretary General K Kesava Rao, Metro Chief NVS Reddy MP Ranjith Reddy, Minister Sabitha Reddy Malla Reddy, KTR,Srinivas Yadav and others.<\/p>\n
The 31 km long project will connect the information technology district Hitec City to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad.<\/p>\n
Minister for IT and Industries K. T. Rama Rao revealed that the chief minister will lay the foundation stone and the entire funding comes from the state Government.<\/p>\n
” The city of Hyderabad is Forging Ahead. Happy to announce that Hon’ble CM K Chandrasekhar Rao will be laying the foundation for Airport Express Metro on 9th December,” minister KTR tweeted.<\/p>\n
“This project starting at Mindspace junction to Shamshabad Airport will be 31 KM long & will be costing approximately Rs 6,250 crore,” he wrote.<\/p>\n
The luggage will be checked here at the Netra rail station and sent to the Airport.<\/p>\n
