{"id":226787,"date":"2022-07-08T14:01:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-08T08:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/?p=226787"},"modified":"2022-07-08T14:14:14","modified_gmt":"2022-07-08T08:44:14","slug":"vijayamma-resigns-from-ysrc-for-sharmila","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greattelangaana.com\/english\/vijayamma-resigns-from-ysrc-for-sharmila\/","title":{"rendered":"Vijayamma resigns from YSRC for Sharmila"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vijayamma the mother of Jagan the CM has resigned from the post of President of YSRC this morning in the plenary session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier there have been many rumours about a fallout between Jagan and YS Vijayamma due to the differences between the Chief Minister and his sister Sharmila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vijayamma is staying away from party affairs since then and is randomly appearing in Sharmila\u2019s YSRTP party programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The YSR Congress plenary is happening on the 8th and 9th . Vijayamma addressed the party on the first day after Jagan the CM in the form of welcome remarks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There were reports in the media that the YSR Congress party constitution is being amended to remove the honorary president post. Once amended, Vijayamma had to resign herself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is because Vijayamma is also the honorary president of YSRTP, another political party in Telangana led by Sharmila.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Even before the amendment was done Vijayamma resigned and said that her daughter Sharmila needs the support.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She was almost in tears after her resignation from the post.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vijayamma the mother of Jagan the CM has resigned from the post of President of YSRC this morning in the plenary session.
